Where do you spend your days? If you're like most Americans, you spend them sitting at a desk, in front of a computer. Modern technology is great for our productivity, but it's the pits for our physical health. Long work hours and long commutes devour most of our day, which leaves us little time to schedule physical activity. But, there are ways to sneak more exercise into your life by moving and walking whenever and wherever you can.
40 years out of high school I found myself in an exercise class called Bay Area Boot Camp. There I was at 6:30 a.m. on a chilly, rainy morning, jogging laps around a duck pond, avoiding duck poo, while wondering what possessed me to get into this class!
"How can there possibly so many different makes and models and designs and options in the RV marketplace?" In search of a vehicle that could be both a capable mobile office and a nice place to live on the road, the choices seemed overwhelming. But over time, I learned why there's so much variety, and what makes the most difference. While your needs and considerations might be different, here's some of what I learned in picking out the ideal RV for me.
Does this sound familiar? You drive to your local big box store, ready to buy some plants to spruce up your garden. Park the car, walk into the nursery section and suddenly, you are confused. The plants mostly look the same. And there are so many you have no idea which to choose. You stand there wondering, "Am I the only person to feel so overwhelmed?"
YMCAs are for people of all ages, abilities, and incomes. At YMCAs, both Boomers and older adults have a chance to keep active and grow in spirit, mind, and body. New friends and new opportunities add joy to life. The Y also gives Seniors a chance to share their time and talents with others, such as children and teens.
Many parents believe that after-school sports are a vital part of their kids' upbringing. But, others believe that there's very little "play" left in sports. Instead, they think sports cause kids a lot of stress.
Aging puts some limits on how long and how intensely you can exercise. Growing older also makes you more prone to injuries during physical activity. Boomers can be at particular risk though, because they might just be discovering their bodies aren't as young as they used to be. By all means, exercise to stay in shape, but take precautions to prevent injuries.

To begin at the end, I now have an RV, a Monaco Diplomat motor home that gives me an office on wheels, a meeting place for customers, a way to avoid the hassles of flying and dirty hotel rooms. And yes, it's a home on wheels.
But why, after racking up more than a million flying miles (as an airline passenger, and doing my own piloting), do I now want to plod down the road instead of zooming over it?
